Outing to Auchterarder

A wonderful day out to Auchterarder Golf Club – the course was in fine condition, the food was delicious and some great golf was played. Christel Davidson was this year’s winner of the Dot Liddel Trophy with an impressive 46 points
Captain vs Secretary

Enjoying lunch in between rounds of the annual Captain vs Secretary competition which was won – narrowly – by the Secretary’s team. New trophies were awarded and are proudly displayed in our locker room.
Annodata 2022
Five of the members of our Annodata team – Paula McDougall, Ali Bruff, Susan Gardiner, Winnie Wilson and Katie Darling whose victory take us closer to a round in Spain. The previous round was won by Laura Goold, Winnie Wilson, Anne Boobis, Pat Horn and Paula McDougall. Go Ladies Go !
Afternoon Tea on 15th March 2022
A fundraiser for the Elsie Inglis Memorial
Organised by Diane Ross MBE, Fiona Garwood, Jean Wylie and Carol Daynes (standing R to L), 20 ladies enjoyed the most delicious afternoon tea produced by Mark and Paula. Over £400 was raised through ticket sales, a raffle and donations.

Christmas Competition 4th December 21
It took more than sleet and snow to dampen the spirits of Ravelston Ladies. Hot drinks and mince pies helped and the competitive spirit was sated with festive-themed games.

Donations of Spectacles for Veterans in Myanmar
Thank you to all those who donated their old glasses for veterans in Myanmar (Burma) who fought with us in WWII. As you can see from the photos the glasses were very much appreciated by them & their families!
Annual Daffodil Tea – Thursday 5th March 2020
Another lovely afternoon with delicious afternoon tea from Mark & his team.
The Ladies AGM was held on 8th February 2020
Annette Lamb retired after 2 years as Secretary. Claire Fletcher was elected onto the Committee and takes over the role as Secretary.
We played a 9 hole Texas Scramble on a cold, sunny day. Congratulations to the winners, Shona Morland, Louise Paton & Sandra Davidson. And to the runners-up (only beaten by 0.1! Agnes Miller, Katy Lessells & Alison Docherty.

The Ladies Section leads a very active life at Ravelston and holds many competitions throughout the year. We also have fun groups for ladies with no handicaps.
The committee is responsible for organising all Ladies competitions in the club and for allocating handicaps. If you have any questions relating to the Ladies section, please contact any member of the committee.
